Sportlink has been founded as a partnership between the KNVB, the Davinci Group and Dexels to offer solutions to highly complex IT challenges in the sport community, not only serving sports unions but also clubs, teams and members. The KNVB, the largest sports union in the Netherlands, takes an important lead in this respect.

Dexels not only developed the business plan together with the Davinci Group, but also the entire Sportlink Ecosystem based on Dexels’ Navajo architecture. This ecosystem can justly be called unique because it was build from the ground with the help of web services, enabling a fully service oriented environment. Users as the sports unions, teams, websites etc. can prescribe to this system based on the amount of usage.
